I added the Entrecard widget to this blog about a week or so ago. I knew about the service since it had launched but hadn’t bothered putting it on any of my blogs until now, because I simply believed it wouldn’t do anything.
I still don’t understand all the complexeties of Entrecard, but I am starting to see traffic flow through - which justifies me keeping the widget on this blog.
Entrecard is a glorified blog advertising network which runs on a credit based system. You earn credits for “dropping” your card on other blogs (via the widget) and selling advertising space.
This blog, which is relatively new has a fairly long queue of advertisers and I have been using the credits I am earning to purchase ad space across a lot of different blogs.
I still have a lot to learn about Entrecard but after just one week the service is looking really promising and Im sure I will continue using it.
